Why you wanted to join the CASNR SAB: The moment I stepped onto East Campus as a freshman, I felt at home. I wanted to ensure that this feeling was relayed to all students in CASNR, and to be a voice for others. CASNR provides so many amazing resources to students, and being on the Student Advisory Board seemed like a great way to ensure that these resources are being utilized for students' support and success. I also love being surrounded by other members of the Board who share the same goals as me, but can provide meaningful perspectives that I may not have considered otherwise.

Favorite spot on East Campus: I love my academic advisor Taylor Bockman's office! She brightens my mood every time I am able to chat with her, whether that be about my academic success or the newest Taylor Swift news.

Why you wanted to join the CASNR SAB: I joined CASNRSAB because I wanted to serve as an advocate and leader for CASNR students. I believe that we have the best community on campus, and there is nothing more fulfilling than giving back to the college that represents the heart of Nebraska.

Favorite spot on East Campus: My favorite spot on East Campus is the Dinsdale Family Learning Commons. The library has a very relaxing atmosphere that is perfect for studying, meetings, or passing time.

Why you wanted to join the CASNR SAB: I chose to join the CASNR SAB to have a voice in some of the “behind the scenes” decisions regarding academics and event planning. I also value this experience as a time to build my teamwork skills and develop my ability to effectively communicate in a group setting.

Favorite spot on East Campus: My favorite spot on East Campus is the East Campus Union. I prefer this over the City Campus Union as there are so many neat and comfortable spaces to do schoolwork and less distractions.

Why you wanted to join the CASNR SAB: I think the Student Advisory Board is a great way to connect CASNR and non-CASNR students with other students, teachers, and faculty in the program. We are able to connect with students, listen to their feedback and experiences, and gap the bridge between students and faculty.

Why you wanted to join the CASNR SAB: I wanted to be part of the Student Advisory Board for CASNR because the college has truly make my experience like no other. I have constantly been surrounded with faculty, staff, and students to support me and transform me into a better person. I wanted to make sure others' had similar experiences through CASNR, and I felt the best way to do so was by being involved in an organization that could make changes at a systemic level.

Favorite spot on East Campus: My favorite spot on East Campus would have to be Taylor Bockman's office! Taylor was my advisor for 2 years and I believe she radiates sunshine and helpfulness to all those around her!
