In this video, The Morrill Land-Grant Act in Practice in Nebraska. Dr. John Owens, former NU Vice President and Harlan Vice Chancellor, Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and Dr. Dick Fleming, UNL Professor Emeritus, discuss the Morrill Act of 1862 and how Justin Morrill’s vision has helped shape public education and particularly the mission and work of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the last 150 years.
