Student HighlightsMelissa Williams Melissa Williams, a Senior Agribusiness student from Fairbury, Nebraska has taken advantage of the study abroad programs CASNR has to offer. By taking part in a three-week study abroad program to France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, Melissa learned a great deal about agricultural production and processing in the European Union. Through a second study abroad tour to Puerto Rico during spring break, Melissa gained knowledge about tropical agriculture and ecosystems. Both of these opportunities allowed Melissa to gain valuable knowledge about international agriculture and natural resources while earning credit towards a degree. Read more student highlights | |

 | | Kyle Perry Animal Science student Kyle Perry spent the last summer working for the National FFA Organization as a trainer for the Washington Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. As a trainer, he worked with high school students from across the nation to develop their leadership potential. The most rewarding aspects of his opportunity were seeing students develop relationships with each other and trainers, as well as change their mindset of leadership from a title to a desire to simply want to help other people.
