Ecology Now
Ecology Now is a environmental group on campus. We do a variety of activities around campus and Lincoln that focus on improving the environment, informing people about good ecological practices, or just enjoying the outdoors. In the past we've accomplished this by hosting movie nights, speakers, and clean up events. We also host the Earth Day Festival every spring where we host a variety of booths, mostly ecologically friendly businesses and student groups. We also strongly promote recycling on campus, and are working to get more bins and promotion around campus.
If you are interested in helping us promote good ecological practices, you should join us! We're always open to new ideas and events if you have some ideas or issues you'd like to see addressed. There is no due for joining our group, so feel free to come check us out.

Ecology Now!
"If a man walks in the woods for love of them half of each day, he is in danger of being regarded as a loafer. But if he spends his days as a speculator, shearing off those woods and making the earth bald before her time, he is deemed an industrious and enterprising citizen."
Henry David Thoreau
