Through 4-H and FFA I had been on many tours of UNL and liked being on East Campus and seeing what it had to offer.  In addition, I really liked UNL’s Greek System and really wanted to join a fraternity.

CASNR really has a small town feel to it. It is extremely rare that I have taken a class that I did not know anyone in and I am always running into more people that I know. My professors and friends helped make the transition to college so easy, I couldn’t imagine going to school anywhere else.

This summer I have an internship with Valley Irrigation in the Research and Development Department. This internship has given me opportunities to see and test new irrigation and irrigation management ideas in different regions across the United States. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends and visiting my fraternity brothers.
