Brooke Grossenbacher, Food Science and Technology, Overland Park, Kansas
Brooke Grossenbacher
As a senior Food Science and Technology major from Overland Park, Kansas, Brooke Grossenbacher, enjoys being involved with the University of Nebraska—Lincoln. Her involvement includes Alpha Xi Delta, serving as a leader in the Greek Community as a recruitment guide during formal sorority recruitment. In the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, she serves as an ambassador for the Dean’s Office.

Brooke has also served as a teaching assistant for two food science courses and studied abroad in New Zealand. One of the clubs she has most enjoyed being a part of is the Food Science Club, where she serves as the President of our local UNL chapter and as a board member within the national organization. Brooke's best memories from college have been made outside the classroom though my involvement in various organizations.

Nick Sage, PGA Golf Management, Bloomington, Minnesota
Nick Sage
As part of UNL's PGA Golf Management Program, Nick Sage has interned at several golf courses including this past summer at Pebble Beach Golf Course. Nick served as a teaching assistant and was one of two PGA Golf Management students selected to attend the PGA's Golf Management University Program Leadership Session. 
  


 

 


Eric Miller, Agribusiness and Animal Science, Lyons, Nebraska
Eric Miller
Eric Miller has served as the Ag Economics and Agribusiness Club Treasurer, was a founding member of the UNL Collegiate Farm Bureau, is involved in student government through the CASNR Advisory Council, and is a member of the UNL Meats Judging Team, among numerous other experiences.

Upon graduation, Eric hopes is to attend law school and focus on agricultural law, then return to a rural Nebraska community and obtain a loan officer position in a rural bank.




 

Melissa Matulka, Animal Science and Agribusiness, Thedford, Nebraska
Melissa Matulka
Melissa always enjoyed working with animals and being involved in agriculture, so when she left the Sandhills to attend UNL, she selected  Animal Science (Equine option) and Agribusiness majors (Banking and Finance option).

To ensure she had professional experience, Melissa interned with the Horse Extension Specialist in Lincoln, Nebraska and First National Bank-North Platte in Alliance, Nebraska. She also encourages students to get involved on campus and has enjoyed being involved as an Animal Science Ambassador, Block and Bridle President, National Agri-Marketing Association marketing team member, Equestrian Team member, Alpha Zeta Secretary, and CASNR Program Week Council Senior Chair, along with participating in intramurals.
