Dylan Dam

Most of my family, including both of my parents, my brother, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, have attended school here, and so it really seemed like a natural fit for me. I never even had to come on an official visit here and I didn’t apply to any other schools, because I had spent so much time on campus growing up and I just knew this was the place for me.

I love the small town feel that all of East Campus and CASNR has. It seems like I can never go anywhere without seeing at least a few people who I know, and it’s the little things like that that make CASNR and East Campus a really special place.

I am an avid sports fan. I love baseball and Husker sports, and enjoy taking part in intramural activities. I’m also a big history buff and love learning and reading about things from the past. Finally, I love music. I’m a member of “The Pride of All Nebraska,” the University of Nebraska Cornhusker Marching Band. I play the trombone, using the same horn that both my dad and uncle used when they were in marching band themselves.
