Informational Interviews

Informational interviews are an excellent way to make new connections and create a more strategic network in your fields of interest.  These interviews involve talking with people currently working in a career field in which you are interested to gain a better understanding of an occupation, organization, or industry.  Ask for information, ideas, suggestions, and referrals to others with relevant information.  However, it is not appropriate to ask for a job during an informational interview.

Big Interview

Use Big Interview to learn and practice your interview skills. You will get hands-on practice with mock interviews tailored to your specific industry, job and experience level.  -

International Student Employment

International students are restricted as to where and how much they are allowed to work.  Please refer to the International Student and Scholar Office (ISSO) for information on Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT) and more.  Students in eligible STEM fields, may be eligible to apply for an OPT extension.  Students should work closely with ISSO before pursuing or accepting off-campus employment.
