Nebraska State Science Fair

2026 Nebraska Junior Academy of Sciences Southeast Regional Science Fair: Wednesday, March 4, 2026

•  8:00 am: Judges check-in 
•  8:15 — 8:45 am: Students check-in and set-up projects (Note: Juniors are 1000’s and Seniors are 2000’s)
•  9:00 — 10:00 am: Project judging—First round (Note: Two judges will visit each project.) 
• 10:00 — 10:45 am: Student snack break and campus tour/ judge deliberations 
• 10:45 — 11:15 am: Project Judging—Second round (Note: Judging as needed to determine finalists.) 
• 11:15 — 12:15 pm: Lunch at Student Union 
• 12:15 — 1:30 pm: Tours—Meet near bowling alley for tour instructions (Note: Students name tags will indicate which tour they will be attending.)
• 1:30 — 2:00 pm: Presentation of awards and scholarships in the Great Plains Room 
• 2:00 pm: Students can take their project to the vehicles at the end of the awards presentation
